Abstract

Physiotherapy represents a fundamental component of modern healthcare systems. Its role extends beyond physical rehabilitation, as it also helps improve patients’ social quality of life. This study examines how physiotherapy interventions and rehabilitation programs support social adjustment and encourage active participation in community life. It focuses on the link between regaining mobility, reducing pain, increasing independence, and limiting social isolation, while also strengthening self-confidence and mental well-being.

The research uses a descriptive-analytical approach, relying on a review of previous studies and literature, as well as standardized tools such as questionnaires to measure quality of life among the study sample. Results show the importance of including social and psychological aspects in physiotherapy plans to help patients return to their daily roles more effectively
