Abstract

Study Objective: This study aims to identify the most significant kinematic variables influencing the discus throw event for athletes with physical disabilities (F57 classification)

Methodology: The researcher adopted a descriptive approach utilizing a case study design with a survey method, as it best suits the objectives and procedures of the study

Results: The findings revealed a statistically significant, strong negative relationship between the achieved distance and vertical velocity. This indicates that an increase in vertical velocity corresponds to a decrease in the distance covered. This outcome can be attributed to the fact that higher vertical velocity tends to diminish the horizontal range of the throw.
