This study examined the impact of e-learning on academic achievement at the Higher Institute of Marine Science and Technology in Sabratha. The research problem lies in answering the following question: What is the impact of e-learning on the academic achievement of students at the Higher Institute of Marine Science and Technology in Sabratha? To achieve the study's objectives, two methodologies were employed: the descriptive-inductive method and the analytical-deductive method. A questionnaire was used to obtain generalizable results. Through statistical analysis of the questionnaire results, several key findings emerged, including: a high level of e-learning usage at the institute from the students' perspective; a lack of interest among some faculty and administration members in developing e-learning activities; a lack of digital literacy and students' unfamiliarity with the e-learning system; and low confidence among the institute's administration in the feasibility of using e-learning. The study concluded with several recommendations, the most important of which are: restructuring the data and information system used at the institute; overcoming the problems faced by the institute's administration when using e-learning; and holding seminars and workshops to support e-learning applications within the institute.
